Procedural bar not to come in the way of ITC under erstwhile law

The CESTAT upheld the order of the Commissioner (Appeals), holding that procedural deficiencies in ISD documentation cannot override substantive entitlement to CENVAT credit where the original invoices are genuine and duly verifiable.
