ICETAB Use in Imports

In a significant step towards embracing technology in daily operations, CBIC has introduced ICETABs to facilitate field officers with portable technology for inspections, seizures, and data verification on the go. The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has recently unveiled the extension of ICETABs (ICEGATE Tablet-based Examination) for export consignments, from June 19, 2025.
