Extended Limitation Rejected

The CESTAT, Kolkata, by order dated 27 July 2026, set aside a central excise demand of ₹3.41 crore, holding that the show cause notice was time-barred as the Department had prior knowledge of the assessee's availment of annual differential refund through suo motu credit.
