DIN Mandatory says AP HC

The Andhra Pradesh High Court, by judgment dated 15 July 2026, set aside a GST assessment order that did not bear a Document Identification Number (DIN). 

Relying on the CBIC DIN Circular and the Supreme Court's decision in Pradeep Goyal, the Court held that an order issued without a DIN is legally invalid and unenforceable.
