DGFT prohibits import of goods using forced labour

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) prohibitsthe import of goods manufactured using forced labour and introduces a statutory definition of "forced labour" based on the ILO Forced Labour Convention, 1930. 

The notification will come into force after the expiry of thirty days from its publication in the Official Gazette.
