Are civil rights governed by specialised Tribunals

The Calcutta High Court, by judgment dated 29 July 2026, dismissed a review petition challenging an eviction decree. 

The Court held that the review sought a rehearing on issues already decided and that neither insolvency proceedings nor Rent Controller orders conclusively established the review applicant's status as a tenant.
